The challenges facing the European Institute of Romania in localizing the Acquis Communautaire into Romanian were daunting. By standardizing EU legislative terminology in Romanian using SDL MultiTerm(R), the Translation Coordination Unit of the EIR was able to accelerate the completion of the Acquis, maximize the accuracy and consistency of target texts--and help Romania streamline its accession to the European Union.
